A Celebration, Not a Farewell
Día de los Muertos is Mexico's answer to grief – and it's anything but sad. Every year on November 1st and 2nd, families welcome back the spirits of the departed with ofrendas piled high in marigolds, sugar skulls, music, and more food than the living can handle. The decorated calavera has become one of the most recognized symbols of this tradition: grinning, colorful, and completely unafraid. The Nocturna puts that energy on the wrist in its most concentrated form.
